Google Nest And Speaker Anounsments

Hi all,

I have a Nest door bell that used to announce visitors on my Google enabled LG speaker. A few months ago it stopped. I unlinked the LG speaker and added a Google mini. I wanted to try changing back to the LG as it wasn't cheep but no matter what I do. It will only ever work on the mini. Both unlinked, reset etc, add LG, all other function of speaker work but not the anousments. Re add mini and it works. Can not find any setting that tells Google home / Nest which speaker to use?

Regarding this situation, it's possible that a recent update has affected the LG speaker's compatibility with this feature. For more information, I advise you to contact the manufacturer of the device. As an alternative, the Nest Mini is a good option for visitor announcements.
