Google Nest DoorBell Wired

Is anyone aware about when actually Google will launch the new version of Nest Doorbell Wired in 2022 ? I am aware they have officially announced that they will be releasing it in 2022. So I just need to know the estimated month if anyone is aware.

At this point they have just re-branded the old one for Wired and launched a new one for battery. 

 

@Brad @Rubes  : I am unable to reply to old post so creating a new one here and there was a mistake in my previous post, I am aware ring is an amazon product and was a point of reference, sorry for confusion. This post is more clear and to the point 🙂

I have another question - will this new updated Nest Wired Doorbell have an undisclosed internal battery that will die after the warranty ends like the Ring Pro and the Nest Hello?

 

Support keeps saying there isn't an internal battery, but iFixIT clearly shows the Nest Hello in fact has one.  After replacing 2 Ring Pros, I asked Google support if Nest Hello will have this issue due to an undisclosed internal battery.  They said no, there is no internal battery.

Fast forward today, and now I have trust issues with Google.  Actually I've had trust issues with Google long before but that's a long story I won't share here.

that internal battery is planned obsolescence. The new ring does not have an internal battery anymore. But you have a buy an external chime as a result.
