Google Nest Doorbell Battery life

Zizwacka

I jumped on and bought the Google Doorbell battery as soon as it arrived in Australia with regret now. I have read about and experimented with every setting to get some degree of battery life and i can still get no more than 2 weeks between charges. Extremely disappointed with this. I do not have a high activity doorbell at all. Can someone share the settings they have in place to get decent Doorbell life?

How many events are you getting a day? I get over 60 and the battery lasts about a month long.

No more than 60

I recharged the battery 2 days ago. This morning i already only have 85% charge left and it estimates that will only last 2 weeks….

 Either i have some settings that are draining the battery or i have a faulty Doorbell

@Zizwacka

I am sorry to hear that you are still having battery issues with your Nest Hello (battery) doorbell. I have an article that may help go over some troubleshooting steps and has some great tips to lower the battery usage. You can find the link here. GIve them a try, and see if they help you out in gaining some battery life. Thank you for your patience, and please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.

Best Regards,

Brad.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
