Google Nest Doorbell Camera (wired)

My google nest doorbell cameras has been working great for a year.  Out of the blue it says it is "offline".   I haven't changed any wifi settings or routers.  Everything is exactly how it has always been.  

I tried to reconnect it through the app to the wifi and it says "cannot connect".    I tried so many times, and nothing works.  I tried to turn off the doorbell and turn back on, again didn't work.   I think removed the device and reset to factory settings.  It still won't connect. 

The wifi is working great and as it should in the house for everything but the camera.  It is definitely not a wifi issue, as I'm getting huge download and upload speeds on speed tests standing right beside the doorbell.   It is a problem with the doorbell. 

Anyone every experienced this with the Nest Doorbell Camera (wired) where it won't connect to wifi no matter what you do?

Since you've already tried a factory reset without success, you could try contacting Support to see if you need a warranty replacement:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

You could also check out the new Google Nest Warranty Helper link at the top page of this forum.  (We haven't had to use it, since we haven't had a Google Nest device fail since mid-2020.)

Having the same issue and NOTHING has worked.  I've had my first generation doorbell for 4 years and all of a sudden, it is no longer connecting to Wi-Fi.  I'm beyond annoyed with this product.
