Google Nest Doorbell Peeling

When I called customer service about the doorbell peeling they said my doorbell was out of warranty and there was nothing that could be done. I see posts all over that theirs was replaced outside of the warranty. Why is replacement inconsistent if they know about the problem? If it's defective it should be replaced regardless of warranty. Can a supervisor please look into my case 5-9258000032224 and contact me?

I am sorry to hear that your Nest Hello doorbell is peeling! I am sure this has been a frustrating experience looking into this further. However, I am afraid that because your device is out of warranty, there is nothing more that can be done. We cannot assist you with a replacement here in the forums. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience this may be.

That's very disappointing since I've seen other posts in here with the same issue and out of warranty that have been replaced.

Unfortunately that policy changed a while ago. We do not process these requests in the Nest Community Forms any longer. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience! If you wish to discuss this more, I would suggest that you reach out to Support for further assistance. This thread will now be locked.
