Our builder installed the Nest Floodlight Cam and discarded the QR code. I found instructions on using the setup key, however when I go to the Google Home App, it sends me to the Nest app. When I try to enter the setup key it's accepted then a window appear with Choose the last 4 digits of your camera's serial number. It may take a moment for it to appear in the list. NOTHING happens, no list appears and it just stalls. After researching various posts, everything found indicates the floodlight cam only works with Google Home, but the app keeps sending me to the Nest app to enter the setup key. Please help me setup this camera, with the amount of money spent this should not be this difficult.

You're right, the floodlight camera ONLY gets installed in the Google Home app, but getting sent to the Google Nest app is very strange. Are you certain you are entering the 6-character Setup Code correctly?
Are you trying to re-install your floodlight camera for some reason? If so, did you first remove it from the Google Home app (if it is still there) and then do a factory reset by pressing the reset button for at least 12 seconds (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162?hl=en#zippy=%2Cnest-cam-battery-or-nest-cam-wit...)?

Hello,
This was my 1st time setting up the camera since we had it installed. The electrician installed it and discarded the box and QR code sticker. We found the setup key on the back of the camera, when I tried adding the device to our Google home it directs me to nest.

You had it "installed" by an electrician but the electrician did NOT install it in the Google Home app but nonetheless removed the QR code from the face of the camera and discarded it?
The Google Home app install process should NOT be sending you to the Google Home app. Do you have the latest version of the Google Home app? Do you have another phone or mobile device you can use to attempt the installation? Is your floodlight camera powered on?
If you cannot get it installed, you can try contacting Support:
