Google Nest Wired Doorbell Camera nighttime images are extremely dark

What lights are others using with their Nest Doorbell cameras? My video feed is extremely dark at night. My door is in an entry way that is 15-20 feet. Getting any light from moon or stars doesn't happen. I have several other Floodlight Cameras that work great. But a floodlight at the front door would be extremely bright. I do have front door lights that are on a switch. Any way to connect those to the doorbell to activate or ???
