How do I get the doorbell to chime on my home speakers?

@LupMas

Turn on "Visitor announcements" in the doorbell's settings:

I am having the same issue. I selected my nest hub (3 years old) when setting up my new nest doorbell battery (today). Even after disabling and re-enabling the visitor announcements, it still will not chime. Camera works, speaker works, my phone gets the notification, but the hub does not ring

Hey folks,

LupMas, were you able to check MplsCustomer's suggestion?

TGray14, are your Nest Hub devices and Nest Doorbell (battery) in the same home structure? If not, follow the steps below and let us know how it goes.

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Open the home the device is in.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings > Device information > Home.
  5. Tap the home you want to move the device to > Next > Move device.
  6. If asked, tap the room you want to move the device to > Next.

Thanks,

Archie
