Hi Google Nest.
I love my google nest cameras, all 6.
My question is, have you begun an update to let indoor outdoor cameras have access to full history on PC like Windows yet? I am just curious. I understand how to use the phone app and I am a current nest aware subscriber. Do you think it will take more than 2 years?
Thanks you Google.

Hi PEM,
Thanks for reaching out. What Nest cameras do you own? To watch the video history on a computer, sign in to your account at https://goo.gle/2qjvVSU and select a camera that has a Nest Aware subscription.
Note: You can only watch video history on a computer if you have an older camera or doorbell that was originally set up with the Nest app.
Check out this link for more information.

Juni

Hello EmersonB and Juni.
hm ok so i typed and all the niceness in the world.
It is my intention to WordTune and cross my fingers that my learning disability will be clarified.
I have received the link. I have read it. It has been understood by me.
A brief summary. I understand that older cameras on Nest Aware subscription are viewed differently than cameras purchased recently and viewed on Google Nest.
The question that remains to be answered is whether Google has indicated that I will be able to view my 'history' of recorded material on a personal computer rather than only on the phone app.
As an individual with a disability, it is difficult to fiddle with a hand-held cell phone in order to view a tiny image of a recorded history. At this point, I am unsure whether it is worthwhile to continue to pay for nest aware subscriptions. In the event that all of my camera history (past recorded material) could be viewed on my PC screen, I would be glad to continue to subscribe.

Hey PEM,
Thanks for getting back to us. We understand that you wanted to access your recorded history though your Windows PC. When you're on the homepage of your Nest account, hit the view of your Nest Camera and you'll see the grey lines below, that means those are your recorded events. You may slide it to the left to view your past events. On the lower right you can create clips and download it to your computer. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks for answering, MplsCustomer and Jenelyn.

Emerson

No luck. Yes. On both my phone and PC, one doorbell from 3 years ago and one outside camera from 3 years ago work with Nest Aware subscription.

Hi PEM,
We appreciate you sharing this information. So you have 2 old Nest Cameras and 4 new Nest Cameras, it's understandable that you can see all of them with the Google Home app while you can only see 2 of them from your Nest app. New Nest Cameras and Nest Doorbells are exclusive to the Google Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your Nest Cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. We understand your concern and we hope that this information would help you. Let us know if you have more questions in mind.

Emerson

I am with autism and I use WordTune but it has a limit to explain.
Thank you everyone for your patience.
I have 6 cameras. 1 doorbell camera. 2 indoor cameras. 3 outdoor cameras.
The doorbell and 1 of the outdoor cameras I paid for three years ago. These cameras were set up with a Nest Aware subscription.
The other 4 cameras were purchased a month ago. These cameras were set up with Google Home.
Best Buy says Google bought Nest.
Now all 6 cameras show up on Google Home on my Android smartphone. Four new cameras show Full History on my Android smartphone and Google Home App. The two older cameras on Google Home display full history using Nest Aware on the cell phone.
Ok. I use my computer screen to look at the cameras. This screen is large and easy to see. The problem is Google Home only shows the current Live video ON THE computer screen. Best Buy and I tried every combination of buttons but it only shows the live data when using the PC Screen to view.
So. My question that I have not understood yet from all the answers is Google Home working on the app to include a Full History and record etc using only the PC screen to view?
Best "believes" that Google Home has not added the ability to use a PC as an alternative way to view past full history. I am writing to you for confirmation of their belief. If this is the case, does Google have plans to add a PC app giving access to full past history etc?
OH. forgot. The ansers i got mabe if i read it right. is to clcik on the buttons they say for telephone stuff only. not PC and i need PC
Thank you very much. PEM

Hi PEM,
I’m sorry for the delay. Thanks for posting in our Community — let's get this sorted out.
Video history playback isn’t available for the Google Home web app. We don't have any plans to share at this time, but stay tuned for more updates in the future. In the meantime, we encourage you to leave feedback in the app for features you'd like to see.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for the help, Juni, Emerson, and Jenelyn.
Best,
Lance

Yes. Please feel free to close it. I have been responding to the emails and have just discovered that I am not able to send them. Finally, I read that Google/Nest was not able to share their future update content, but 'some' changes were being made. As if watching a movie trailer for a forthcoming film, I will wait patiently. Thanks a lot, and bye for now.
