Google Outdoor Camera Floodlight not listed in APP as having floodlight, but it's 20+' up

Some of us who bought the outdoor camera/floodlights may have needed them installed up high on the side of a structure/house.  When problems arise ( and with these Nest/Google devices, we've had many), is our only choice to have to call the electrician with the tall ladder to come back and charge another fortune while I troubleshoot/reload the device?

I either installed/loaded the device (before mounting ) as a camera instead of the camera/floodlight ( though I am quite sure I chose the correct option), or it seems others have found their devices tend to change their categorization in the Home App?  Either way, I can't adjust the light and need to possibly rest the whole darn thing - without having it in hand.

Are you unable able to find the controls for the lights for your floodlight camera, listed separately under the "Lights" section in the Google Home app?  And do you not have a "Floodlight Timer" option under Settings for the camera?

Hello, and thank you so much for helping me!  Oddly, whilst in the Home app, if I click on that device, it displays more as just a camera as there’s no indications for the floodlight at all, but in answer to your question, yes, I do have the “Floodlight Timer” option!

@ronlikesparis

This Google Nest Help topic describes some of the settings you should have for your floodlight camera. We don't have a floodlight camera, so I don't know how it should appear. The examples I could find online do NOT show it as labelled as a "floodlight" camera in the Google Home app. But if you have the "Floodlight timer" option, the "Daylight sensor" option, and the "What turns on the floodlight" option under Settings for the floodlight camera, then it would seem it's set up like a floodlight camera because those are all unique to the floodlight camera.

By the way, the install instructions say "When the app asks you which product you are adding, make sure that you select Nest Cam with floodlight."
