The nest doorbell (battery) permits activity zones WITHOUT a subscription. The google store also says you can hardwire the battery doorbell.
If you hardwire the battery version will you still be able to use activity zones without a subscription?
if I buy the wired version there are less features and to get activity zones I have to subscribe.
thx for any help.

@Cariboutrailer Yes you'll be able to setup zones without a subscription if you hardwire the Nest Doorbell (Battery). There are, as far a I've seen, there are no consequences of hardwiring the doorbell.
