Google nest cam battery using Wasserman PoE adapter

Hey now I have attempted to connect 2 different Wasserstein POE adapter cables to my nest cam battery without any luck, are we waiting for a Google home firmware update or do these things just not work? Wasserstein seems to have no support so far as to help... same with google.  just very curious if anyone else has or had the same issue.

I was able to connect one today. It provides power, but no internet. So the cameras still connect to my wifi router.
