I have a battery doorbell if I wired it to the doorbell chime will it charge the doorbell?

If you wire your Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) to your existing doorbell wires, which are connected to your chime and transformer, it should charge your doorbell as long as your transformer meets Google Nest's requirements (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9247132?hl=en). However, the charge is a trickle charge and cannot charge the battery at temperatures below freezing (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11830989?hl=en).
