Google nest doorbell battery

Doorbell battery camera said it was offline for several days. I took it off and tried to fix. Removed from Google home app and thought I could simply re install. I’ve tried several times and no luck. I get stopped at the joining phase or the download phase.  No blue light comes on either no matter what I do with the reset button. Just a slowly flashing white light. This is so disappointing and a waste of money and energy to deal with.  No answers anywhere to fix it. What do I do?

I've had this thing mounted for 2 days and now it's offline and same **bleep** issue. Won't show me a blue light to reconnect. I'm ready to get rid of it

I may have a solution. Restarting phone, deleting app and re-downloading it and disconnecting all devices did not work. After messing around with it for a ridiculous amount of time, I decided to do a factory reset. Once I did that, I went through the setup for the battery doorbell and instantly got the blue light. Now it's set back up and working properly. I understand the frustration though as it should not be so hard to setup once it goes offline. Make sure WiFi is strong. I had an issue and that what sent it offline in the first place. Good luck!
