I hate this system. It is always going off because of bugs or shadows from the trees. I don't want to turn off notifications because what good would that do if something were to really be going on?? No...creating a zone doesn't help.

Hello, I'm an end user as well. I have tried 3 different cameras from other companies and they all have the same issues with false person alerts. I'm hoping that in the next year that as AI improves they will get better. But until then we just have to live it. All you can do is try to reposition the camera so as not to see those shadows from the trees waving in the wind.
Keep in mind if you have the Nest Aware Subscription you can turn on PERSON alerts so you don't get simple motion alerts like from a bug flying by. It does a fairly good job at eliminating the false alerts. But it isn't perfect.
