The electrician has been twice, once to install and once to try to fix the buzzing of the doorbell. He wired it up per the instructions.. we even bought a chime that is apparently compatible (other users have confirmed) but we can’t get it to work properly. After install it works but within an hour if you press the doorbell there is a loud buzzing that doesn’t go away… after this the doorbell doesn’t ring at all. The transformer is 24 volt per instructions.
i have to keep turning off at the circuit breaker as im worried its going to cause a fire.
What should the electrician try next??
