How do you get camera alerts in the Google home app instead of nest

Just want to get rid of the nest app and use the Google home but I can’t seem to get alerts through the Google home app

Hi Gary, 

Notifications for the older cameras are not available in the Google Home app just yet, but Google is working to bring over this functionality, so hopefully it will be available before too long.
