How to fix Face Detection mistake

jage

Hello.

I am new to Nest. On the Familiar Face detection, I accidentally clicked one of the saved videos as someone I did not know at my doorbell. This was a mistake! It was my son and I want to add him to the library but now that I made that error, it no longer allows me to tag him to my library. How do I correct this?

Thanks for any advice!

If he’s not already saved as a familiar face, get him to stand in front of the camera again and it should pick it up.

Thanks so much for the tips. Face detection found my son again and I was able to add him to my library. Much appreciated!

I haven't been able to test this solution because he is out of town till later this week. The camera did see him again after my error on the first one but did not indicate "Unfamiliar Face" to allow me to add him. IT simply says "Person Seen". I was hoping there was a way to edit my error from the first shot but I guess that's not possible. This is not yet resolved.
