Cant hear door bell inside my house

Assuming you have the Doorbell (Battery) attached to the doorbell chime/switch wires, you just have to change a setting in the Google Home app to ring the indoor chime. It is off by default.

I have the same issue. I had my google hello for one year. Checked setting to ring indoor chime and it was on.

any other suggestions?

This question was about the Google (Battery) Doorbell, not the Hello.  My answer was about the new Battery version.   Someone else will have to chime in about the Hello, but doing a quick search I saw a reference to one person that had an issue with the Hello doorbell not ringing the chime, and it was because the doorbell transformer was insufficiently sized.  I think that person had two chimes connected as well, which probably added to the problem. Upgrading to a transformer with higher voltage and current rating fixed their issue.

I have checked the settings in the Google home app, and it only gives me the choice of turn indoor chime on or off if I have an electronic and wired doorbell. I have the battery operated doorbell. I have also tried to hit the doorbell button and go to the "more "option and it only allows me to make sure that quiet time is off or canceled.

If your Battery Doorbell is not wired to your chime, it can't ring it.  You'll need to wire it in to ring your indoor chime.

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I wanted to make sure that your concern was acknowledged. I would make the same suggestions to check your settings to make sure the chime is set to On, and if it is and you are still experiencing this issue, try giving the device a restart first.

P.S @firmwaredev thank you for all of your help and your insight on these issues! Id suggest you look into the Product Expert program here in the forums! You have been great help, and thank you for all of your assistance!

Best Regards,

Brad.
