I have the new Google Nest Doorbell (battery).  My google home account is already linked to Alexa, but the Nest Doorbell (battery) will not appear on the device list.  I have unlinked the 2 platforms and re-linked them 3x with no luck.  Any insights?

Hi there, Alexander Williams 6201.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I can imagine it's been quite frustrating trying to connect your new Nest Hello Battery doorbell up to Alexa. I would love to look into this for you.

I found a great article that goes over connecting a device up with Alexa. You can find that help article here. Please let me know if you need further assistance! I look forward to your response.

Hi Brad,

This link really doesn't apply:

It's for the old Nest iPhone App and note the new Google Home App - which the Nest Video Doorbell with Battery uses

Has anyone got any ideas how to get this to work. Makes my smart home kinda pointless if the doorbell only announces on my mobile !! No one else in the house can hear that!

EXACTLY. I'm returning mine. How disappointing.

yeah it's a bit rubbish to be honest. Makes a mockery of smart homes. The other Nest stuff I've got is great.
