I just installed the new Nest Cam indoor wired 2nd generation. Unfortunately, the picture is obscured by black lines and the picture is a bit pixelated. This camera is replacing an older cam pro which worked great.
Any help would be appreciated

Hello anapier77,
Thanks for posting here in the community. That certainly is not a good thing if your Nest camera is not giving you a proper view. To know more about this, can you send us the screenshot so that we can take a closer look.
Best,
Emerson

Thanks Emerson! unfortunately, I gave up and return the 3 new cameras. I was able to get the lines to go away...as they were apparently caused by the can lights in the living room. This wasn't a problem with the drop cams. However, even getting the picture free of the lines, the quality of the image is/was dramatically worse than my old drop cam. I think we need a "3rd Gen" product soon.
Thanks!
