I set the acct up with my yahoo email and the app will not send me an email for forgotten acct. I tried connecting with my gmail but it wants me to set up the product. IDK what my husband did, but I cannot remove it from my wall so I can scan whatever it is I need to scan. HELP!

I think you are running into Google's protection against privacy issues. I had a similar problem about 2 years ago where it would not send me a password reset. I'm pretty sure you only way to fix this is to actually speak with a google tech person. Here is the link to open a support ticket and talk to a human on the phone. If this works please return here and let us know if they were able to get you up and running and what it entailed.
