Light around the button: always ON or OFF setting

How do I make the light around the button always ON or OFF for religious reasons: to avoid turning the light ON or OFF by motion on Shabbat.

For comparison only, Ring doorbell has a setting to disable the light around the button completely. I can’t find this setting in the Google Home app.

We cannot turn off the light around the button on our older Google Nest Hello Doorbell, and I'm guessing it's not an option on the new 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell either:

I understand. But it looks like the light ring pulses when it detects motion, and the light ring spins when the doorbell button is pressed, which is what our Nest Hellos also do, with no option to alter this behavior.

Thank you for checking in, and sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately since there’s no solution I’ll be returning the doorbell even though I really like other features like 24/7 recording and the look of the device😢
