Hi everyone! So I have a larger Nest camera system. We have 13 cameras, indoor and outdoor. We have 4 range extenders as well. My problem is viewing live video and viewing playback as well. When opening Google Home, then going to view my cameras, they are all loading for eternity, then one or two will start showing a live image for only a couple seconds, then I get the message “live video unavailable. The camera may be unreachable or saving battery.” None of my cameras run on battery. I have upgraded my WiFi to the quickest possible plan offered by my provider, and am still having this problem. Do I have too many cameras? Is there something I can do with my WiFi settings? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

We have numerous Google Nest cameras and doorbells, as well as Nest Hubs, and seldom have "live video unavailable" errors. In addition to our router/modem, we have two Linksys routers functioning as access points, connected via Ethernet cable to the router/modem.
I don't know anything about your range extenders, but perhaps there is something about your Wi-Fi setup that can't handle the traffic. I'm afraid I can't advise you on that, but I am biased in favor of wired access points.

Was your system working correctly for a number of weeks or months and now this is a new problem?
The reason I ask is because these cameras do indeed have an internal battery that needs to stay charged even though the cameras are getting wired power. With the cold weather hitting the batteries do not like to charge under a certain temp. Read this article and see if you think this has anything to do with what you are seeing...
