Migration Issues

I have had nest app for about 4 years and now I bought a new camera and want to put all together on Google home or keep on nest app. I tried adding the new camera to nest but it takes me to google home. When I go to google home it doesn't show my original cameras. But my nest app still works and shows the original cameras. When I try to add device in google home it tells me nest account is already migrated to another google account. I only have one google account? Please help

Google is a joke. From what we are finding out is that the $200+ cameras that still work great are not useable as we have used them for 4 years. Now that we’ve migrated only the parent migrated account can view those cameras and only on nest. I can invite family members but they can’t login to nest and those cameras can’t be view on google home. So google in their infinite wisdom screwed anyone who was loyal to Nest, by design I’m sure. Absolute horse crap

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community and I'm sorry for the late response.

 

@TerraTestingLBK, I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. A few things: Do you remember if you migrated your Nest account to Google? If so, do you remember the Google account that you migrate your account to? It will help if you can use the original phone that you used for your Nest app. Here is a helpful link to.

 

@Bcaro, this is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. You can log into the migrated account to your Google Home app so you can view the camera linked to your Nest app.
