Moved Nest Camera to vacation home. Can't connect

Wingfan13

I had a nest camera at my home at removed it because I brought it to our vacation home.  I removed the device from my home and brought it out to the vacation home.  I setup the vacation home in the app. When I go to set it up it will not connect standing right next to it.

I did a factory reset, it's plugged in and no longer have the QR code so I used the setup code and I cannot get it to connect.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Hi Wingfan13,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community and for sharing with us the troubleshooting steps you've done. To know more about this, I'd like to confirm, do you have the battery or wired type Nest Camera? What is the app you're using to set it up? What is the light status of your Nest Camera? How far is it from your main router?

Looking forward to your response.

Best,

Emerson

Where is your vacation home located? And was your Nest Cam (battery) purchased in the country it currently resides in? Please let me know.

Best regards,

Brad

Its an hour and 45 minutes away from our home.  Both purchased and used in the US.
