Multiple clips/videos for a long event?

Hi-

I am using a series of Nest Cams (battery) and receive event-based alerts as expected most of the time. I am trying to figure out how often recording is triggered for the same event, for instance if a person moves in front of the camera for 10 minutes, will I get alerts/recording after the original 30-second initial clip?

In other words, how often does the cam get triggered for what constitutes a single event lasting more than 30 seconds?

Hey there,

Unfortunately this has been a bug that has been affecting some customers and their devices. No fix for it at the moment, but if you are still experiencing these issues, please start by performing a factory reset on your devices. If that doesn't do the trick, remove the device from your Home, Factory Reset it, and add it back in. That has worked for some people and have reset alerts so they are no longer delayed.
