my HELLO DOORBELL looks horrible since it is peeling and getting worse as time goes on.
It is not nice to get visits letting me know awful it looks, even the UPS guy told me that it is very common and I should replace the faceplate but I don't know How??
I also been told that Google is taking care of it and replacing it? Is that true?
Otherwise I will definitely replace it by another doorbell

If you search this forum for "peeling" you'll find over 400 posts on peeling Google Nest Hello Doorbells. One of ours, two years old, is peeling. Google Nest says they "cannot" replace them if they are past the 1-year warranty, so we bought a silicone skin on Amazon to cover the peeling shards. The faceplate is not replaceable.

Please share what happens after a user completes the form. Are they sent a replacement or does their name just live on a spreadsheet somewhere? What follow up is done on these cases of peeling?
