My solution worked

Recently I  asked for help on connecting my nest battery doorbell to my mini speakers inside.  I figured it out of anyone has the same issue. 

Go to Google account  open Home where you placed your doorbell on, under in you will or should see your speakers, click on one speaker at a time and go to right top on info on that speaker, move it to Home and you will now hear doorbell on your mini.  Can do this to every mini you have listed under home.  Hopebthis helps! Took me awhile to figure out on my own

i am not sure what you exactly did. 

I opened my HOME app on my phone. My Nest doorbell battery is in FRONTDOOR. I have a MINI speaker in Kitchen. They are in separate rooms but in the same home. Clicking on the speaker, I dont see an option to somehow link it to the doorbell
