I just got 4 new NEST cameras. I was able to set the first one up fine but now when I try to connect the 2nd device it keeps saying "Connecting to assisting Nest device. Looking for a nearby device that can help get your device online faster."
It keeps searching but nothing happens and I get the "Can't connect to assisting device. We're having trouble connecting to the assisting device"
What do I need to do?

This is a problem that has been reported quite a bit in other posts, with numerous customer-suggested solutions that have varying results, but no definitive answer from Google. Some customers have posted that they think the problem is due to outdated software on some of the cameras shipped by Google. Search this forum for "assisting device" and "assisting nest device" (in quotes) to see some of the other posts about this problem and the solutions suggested by other customers. I'm just another Google Nest customer and don't have an answer for this.

I was actually able to get it done.
I removed the camera that I was able to connect and pressed the reset button in the other camera. It is directly behind the camera. Hold it until it stops making sounds.
once that was done I was able to connect all 4 cameras.
