When is this service ice going to provide what I pay for.
My cameras are offline more than they are on. I'm shocked if I open the app to see them all working
Google provide no help or acknowledgement at all.
I've had free services that work way better than this crap
I don't know how they get away with it.
It's broke in every way possible.

I had the same issue for years. Turns out it was my crappy internet. My upload speed was only around 4Mbps and each camera should have 2Mbps available. I have 6 cameras, phones, computers, and TV’s all competing for that same 4Mbps. Changed providers and now the upload speed is over 150Mbps and problems solved.

Hi Folks,
I appreciate you taking the time to post in the community, and I'm sorry to hear that your cameras are getting offline suddenly.
I can see that @Curlygirl has a point about how important it is to have a good Wi-Fi signal to keep the cameras connected. This is also the most common issue when we talk about cameras going offline.
On the following article, Fix Nest camera or doorbell Wi-Fi connection issues, you will find more information and tips about how to fix that issue.
Also, I want to ask:
have you tried any troubleshooting steps to fix the issue?
have you checked the Wi-Fi signal strength in the location of your cameras to confirm if the signal is weak?
Please keep me posted,
Best regards,
Derick

Ive tried all the usual nonsense.
I have very fast internet and both cameras are within 10ft of a mesh node.

Hi @Andyb1126!
Thank’s for your reply. I’ll need more information to isolate the issue. Please reply to the following questions:
What model of Nest camera do you have?
When did the issue start?
Are you getting any error messages?
Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera?
Do other devices experience slow internet speeds?
What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
What is the internet speed in the location of your Nest Camera?
Have you made changes to your network?
I’ll be waiting for your reply.
Regards,
Derick.

Nest Outdoor wired And Nest doorbell wired.
No error messages other than camera not available.
They were never perfect but acceptable until we migrated them to Google Home. Now they are simply not fit for purpose.
No changes.
600 down. 100 up.
