Need help with separating Nest Cam Outdoor / Indoor mount from the wall plate

Hi.  My wife here thought it was a great idea to twist the cam mount to the wall plate without screwing the wall plate on.  Now I can't separate them to mount the Nest Cam outdoor/indoor.  It's the white mount where the camera sits attached to the black wall plate screwed into the wall.  I am unable to attach an image.  I hope you understand what I'm saying.

Maybe viewing how the magnetic plate is twisted onto the wall plate in the install video below, starting at about 4:10, will help you figure out how to twist it off:

@BailMeOut, thanks for posting here in the Community. Let me help you out. I’d like to confirm if you have already tried rotating the wall plate counterclockwise while it is attached to the magnetic mount.
