Nest App - Outdoor Floodlight Cam

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent installation of the Nest outdoor cam with floodlight. As a loyal customer with six other cameras functioning on the Nest app, I cannot fathom the thought process behind not allowing me to access the floodlight camera on the Nest app.

The inconvenience of having to switch to the inferior Google Home app is unacceptable, especially when the Nest app has consistently worked seamlessly with my other cameras. The constant connection issues with the Home app have caused unnecessary frustration and have significantly hindered my ability to monitor my property effectively.

I understand that your long-term goal may be to encourage customers to switch to the Home app. However, I strongly believe that the market should have the freedom to choose which app to use. By forcing customers to use the Home app, you are disregarding the loyalty of Nest users who have invested in your products and services.

Therefore, I urge you to reconsider your decision and allow the floodlight camera to be accessed on the Nest app. Doing so would not only enhance the user experience for your loyal customers, but it would also demonstrate your commitment to meeting their needs.

I agree with you 100%

I was shocked after spending the money on a NEST CAMERA  W/ FLOODLIGHTS that i cant control from my NEST APP.    I do not want to use the Google Home app.

Google.   Please fix this.   Make it right.
