I find it incredulous reading this community and seeing that posts raised from 2021 asking for Google to have a doorbell that gives us the option to have a chime only without the "someone's at the front door" announcement,
I've even tried custom script editor, I managed to control which speakers it plays on, how often it turns the volume up and turns the volume down, but for the life of me, I cannot just play a doorbell noise on a doorbell.
Surely there's got to be an option to be able to turn off visitor announcements and just play a doorbell noise, like you know, how doorbells have been functioning for maybe 100 years.
I know the community feedback will be like, oh raise a feedback form, but surely people have been doing that for years, why has nothing changed?
