Nest Cam (2nd gen) blue light doesn’t show

I have two nest doorbells and just got a nest cam 2nd gen. It says it should chime and turn white when plugged in to start setup. It just had the green light. I factory reset and the white light blinked on and then went out. When I plugged it in, it chimed but the light is still green and it won’t pair.

We have tried everything and the second camera to connect

Ending up returning it. New one worked so easily out of the box.

Hey there,


I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your Nest camera! I'm sure it's frustrating but I'm happy to look into this and see how we can help out. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to Restart your device. By doing this, it should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.
