Finally a solution for nest camera disconnects.
I wanted to hopefully help people with disconnect issues on the nest cams. I always thought it was a google issue but it turns out to be a router issue. In a mesh system if roaming is on meaning the router forces the devices to connect to another node when the signal drops too low. What this is doing is telling the cameras to connect to the node the router thinks is best and the nest cams are saying i don't want to connect to that node i want to connect to a different one. So they are constantly fighting each other. I disabled roaming for the mesh system and everything has been rock solid. Google home loads cameras immediately. No disconnects. Hope this helps you guys.

I think that might be the same with your mesh router but generally it is not the resolution. If mesh router tells the device to connect to other router, the device should oblige and connect to other router. Besides, if the devices and router do not change locations, then there is no need for the router to tell the device to connect to other router. Once connected, the device should stay connected. I am convinced that its the google products that are bad cause I have around 50 other devices from different brands and not a single device disconnects from the network, except googles nest products.

Same here. Only my nest products have the issue. Turning roaming off they no longer have a issue.
