So I fitted my outdoor Nest cam back up after it being taken down for decoration and it all worked fine... I got a message on the Google Home app to transfer it there as there was a 'new camera experience' - that sire wasn't wrong!
After doing so the other night I noticed is was suddenly saying 'offline' when I went to bed (it was OK less than an hour earlier). In the morning I cut the power for a short time, then switched back on and it seemed to spring back to life. However this morning I woke up and went to check it and the livestream was saying 'The Camera may be unreachable or saving battery' - I mean it's the WIRED version?! The even weirder thing is it was happily taking snapshots.....
Anyone know what's going on with it? Thanks

We recently got that same message momentarily on one of our 1st gen Google Nest Outdoor Cameras, which are still installed in the Google Nest app.
My guess is that the message, "The Camera may be unreachable or saving battery", is generic and Google Nest is now mistakenly using that message even on wired cameras that do NOT even have a battery.
Hopefully, as in our case, it was just a momentary glitch in your Wi-Fi reception.
I don't know what to suggest if it persists; we're not switching any of our cameras to the Google Home app because it lacks so many of the functions of the Google Nest app, and besides, we still have to continue using the Google Nest app for our Nest Hello Doorbells.

Hi folks,
@AdamE, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, do you have an active Nest Aware subscription? Try turning off your mobile phone's Wi-Fi and restart your Nest Camera and Wi-Fi router.
Let us know how it goes.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
