I am currently without Internet due to hurricane Milton. Thankfully have power. I just opened the home app for giggles to see if the Wi-Fi is back, and noticed that the indoor Nest Camera was currently live? I tried looking up the network that it's connected to, and it doesn't show anything. I have tried connecting to the Wi-Fi network on my phone, and it still states no Internet access. How is my camera live streaming without having Internet access? Not going to lie, I'm kind of freaked out.

Hi TOTALIMM0RT4L,
Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that you have a concern about why the Nest Camera Wired still shows live feed even though you don't have Wi-Fi. Help's here.
For the Nest Camera Wired, once you have power, the camera can continue to view the live feed, record video, and store it locally when the Wi-Fi or Internet goes out. It has enough internal memory to store up to one hour of recorded events when it's offline. However, because it doesn't have a backup battery, it won't record and save video locally when the power goes out.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Regards,
Byron
