Nest battery doorbell not showing up in family members Google home app. We can see all of the lights (lepro) but are only able to see the doorbell and camera on the main Google home account in which it was setup. I read online that the new cameras, doorbell and floodlights don't need the nest account to setup (which was true) but do we need the nest account to share it with other members in the home?

Shouldn't need a nest account for the newer cameras. Have you added the family members to your home? On the main screen in the Home app click on the settings icon and then Household, you'll see the list of people there you gave access to your devices.

@Impact9 yes, both members have been added to the correct home and can see the lights that are in the home but not the camera or doorbell

Dumb question but might as well ask, are your devices on the same home account as they are? I know when I add a device the app asks what home account I'm adding them to so if you have multiple home accounts just verify they are on the same account as your family members.

Yeah, everything is under the same home account

Having the same issue. Just set up my doorbell. When my wife pulls up the home app on her phone it says it is offline but I've got live video on my phone/home app.

I’m having this exact issue.

Did you manage to sort this? I’m having the same issue

Same issue. New Nest doorbell doesn't show up in the access privileges of family members on the Home account?

I'm having the same issue. Everything works for me but not for my wife. Our doorbell and camera show as offline on her phone but work fine on mine. Help!

I’m also having this issue. Just wired up the floodlight cam and added husband to my Google home account. He can see all our devices - including the flood light cam and doorbell etc, but it just says offline and it’s asking him to do the migration - but I’ve already done the migration on my Google account months and months ago (all our Nest products new and old are set up to my Gmail) So we tried to enter my gmail on his phone and Home app, but it keeps saying incorrect password, but its 100% not wrong. Just to add, I can see everything working on my phone/app. But his isn’t.

Same issue here everything fine for me but not girlfriend who has been added to household and given all access! Can see all devices but offline!

I solved this by clicking through the welcome email to my wife (once she was added to the Household group on Home).
This brings you to a page where you select a number of options , one of which is to select the household and also select the Nest options. Once I did this, it works across devices.

I deleted and re-added her. I didn't see anything in the email other than the normal steps you go through to add her to the household. No luck.

Had the same issue, camera and doorbell were showing offline in the app, but when you click on them they connect, and that fixes everything, did for us anyway.

Okay so after weeks of trialling different things, this sorted our family account out so other family members could see the camera etc whereas before it showed offline.
In essence, I deleted the Home and started again. I followed the following process -
——
Both people
Install latest version of Nest and Google Home
apps
Create accounts and/or log in to both apps
Using gmail address and Google login
If Nest account is old, migrate account to
Google, shut app, relogin with google login
Delete old homes in Nest and Google Home
apps
Person 1 (primary)
Create a new home in Nest app and add
Products to it.
You should be able to see new home in Google
Home app.
Invite Person 2 to home in Google Home app.
Person 2 (secondary)
Accept invite to home in Google Home app.
You should be able to see home in Nest app, along
with the products attached to it.

Hope the above helps. It’s longwinded as you have to scan all the products back on so this can be fiddly with doorbells and outdoor cctv etc however this was the only way for Google Home to work for everyone in the family!
