Nest Cam (battery) connects then disconnects from Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-nanoHD WAP

I have just set up a Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-nanoHD system for a client and we have a single Nest Cam (battery) that won't stay connected. It connects for a while (up to 5+ hours today) and then disconnects, and stays disconnected for a while (It was last disconnected for more than 18 hours before reconnecting). Configuration: single USW-Lite-8-POE, Ports 1&2: UAP-nanoHD Port 8: Uplink to Bell Fiber router (Bell Home Hub 4000). I don't do anything to get it to reconnect, it just shows up again after some time.

Does anyone have an idea what is going on here? I have searched the Unifi community articles and tried some of the suggestions already (turn off uplink connectivity monitor, turn off fast roaming, etc)

@drhjorgensen

There are various issues reported in this forum with the new Google Nest Camera (Battery) when it is running on battery power. We've had ours for a year, plugged in with the optional power cable and it is online and "Live" all the time.

What if you used the charging cable that came with your camera (plugged in with the cable feeding towards the FRONT of the battery) to keep the camera plugged in for a day or two, to determine whether it is disconnecting only when running on battery power or is also disconnecting when plugged in.

The Nest Cam is mounted under the eave and has power running to it.

I guess the possibilities are:

1) A poor Wi-Fi signal at your camera's location.
2) Interference between your camera's location and your router/modem/access point.
3) Something unusual in your Wi-Fi network setup.
4) A defective camera.
