Hi there. I've have had my nest cam for a couple of years now and it stopped connecting a while ago. I deleted it from the nest app and then tried re-added it. I am no longer able to connect it to my network. I inspected the cabling and it is withering away pretty badly. I was wondering if Google offers a replacement cable for these things? The funny thing is only one half of the cabling solution is withering. The part that plugs into the wall outlet is fine but the half that goes into the camera and then into the power block itself is pretty worn down naturally by weather damage. Any tips here?

Hi @CPrice
You can try contacting support directly: Contact Us - Google Nest Help
FYI I had the same thing happen to my Camera wires. They just crumbled from the weather. Support didn't offer any replacements and did tell me to discontinue using the device. I opted to buy the newer model and so far the wire is holding up.

Thanks for the tip. They should really look into making better cables. I hate having to discontinue use of a product they should stand by. Google really needs to step it up and quit making things obsolete for reasons like this. Stand by the product and replace the cable! They'd much rather is spend $$$ and put the issue on the consumer. Sorry for the little rant. Thanks for passing on that information.
