I installed a Nest Cam with Floodlight (hardwire only option), 18 months ago. This week out of the blue it died. I have plugged the camera into another working floodcam base and nothing.
Google Home showed it had 80% charge when last online.
I have many nest products (over 20), including 5 outdoor floodcams, and have never experienced this.
I seem to remember seeing notices a few times about the battery not charging and disregarding them as it always resolved itself. (This is a newer model and the charging cable can only be plugged in one way.)
I am past warranty, but if this is a known issue, Google, shouldn’t you stand behind the product?
Can one buy a replacement camera only? I don’t see any option for buying the flood camera online.
I have heard this is a known issue. Any help appreciated.

Brandon,
I have already gone through the steps with Google Support online. The camera is dead, so other than the representative needing to follow their protocol, there was no troubleshooting to complete. Google was very helpful and replaced the camera even though out of warranty. Given our 25 nest/google products as well as our long history with Aware, we felt that we were treated fairly.
Thanks
