Nest Camera 24/7 recording

We have two battery Nest Camera (outdoor) wired and plugged in and we have the nest aware plus subscription.

Only one camera has the 24/7 recording feature with events working great. However, the other only records events halfway and does not record 24/7.

With the nest cameras set up and subscription we have we thought that both cameras would be 24/7 not just one. Can someone please help?

It seems that the second camera might be defective, or is not receiving power. When our Google Nest Camera Battery is plugged in, then when we select it in the Google Home app, the camera's video stream displays, and if we select Settings | Battery, it says "Plugged in" with an infinity symbol in a circle. If, on the other hand, we disconnect our camera  from power so it is running on battery power, when we select the camera, it displays as "Idle" with no video stream and shows the battery charge percentage instead.

Ours does the exact same thing and I've tried to turn the camera off and on again and remove and add again to the home app but still only records events when they are already happening or coming to an end

Hi Brad

We still require assistance with this as one camera is recorded 24/7 and the other only records with movements, people and cars going past etc.

We've tried everything we can
