Nest Cameras V1 are suddenly losing Wifi Connections

Mrslimpy
Community Member

I have two Nest Indoor cameras, and one Nest Outdoor Cameras. Both are Version 1. Both purchased new within the last 6 months. All of a sudden, they are having problems staying connected to Wifi. I have not changed my Wifi Network settings/Passwords etc. I have done the following: 1) Simple Reboot, 2) I have rebooted the modem, the router, and all of the satellites, 3) I have removed the Indoor cameras from account and then added them back in. They work for a bit, then go offline for no reason. One indoor camera is particularly buggy. Very difficult to get it to connect to Wifi. The outdoor camera seems to be able to come back online after a reboot. I am using an EERO mesh system. The buggiest camera is within 3 feet of an eero Satellite.

Hello Mrslimpy,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community and for sharing the steps you've done. To confirm, are you getting any error messages? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near your Nest Camera? We would recommend you to perform a factory reset and check its behavior. Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Emerson
