Nest Door Bell Peeling and Flaking after 20 Months

$250 spent on doorbell and another $180 on electrician upgrading the transformer and doorbell is dead.  You would think a product that costs this much would last at least a couple of years.  Looks like I will check out Ring.

Dont I moved from Ring as it basically stopped working after splitting. My Nest doorbell looks just the same as yours now and refuses to connect to my wifi.

So I guess the best solution is to go with an old mechanical one or wait until Google stands behind the products they sell.
