I’ve had my Nest doorbell (wired) for less than a year and the front face protective coating is peeling. I’m worried water intrusion may affect the electronics of the device. This is unacceptable quality coming from Google. The doorbell is under a well shaded porch and is protected from direct sun exposure.

If you've had your doorbell for less than a year, you could try contacting Support about getting it replaced, starting with the link below. Two of our Google Nest Hello Doorbells are peeling and past the 1-year warranty, so we purchased silicone skins on Amazon to cover the peeling shards.
