Hey there,

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

Best regards,
Brad

Hi everyone,

@FARMAN It's us again. I'm bumping up this thread to ensure that everything is covered here. Let's see what other steps that we can do here. To confirm, how far is the camera from the router? Are you getting any error messages? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera? Aside from restarting your Nest Camera, you may try giving these steps a try:

  • Restart your mobile phone and WiFi router.
  • In case you are still having the same issue, try resetting your Nest Camera to the factory default. Remember that after the reset all of your recorded events will be deleted as well.
  • Remove and re-add it to your Nest app or Google Home app.

Let us know how it goes.

I appreciate the help, Brad.

Thanks,

Emerson
