Hello,
I am trying to install a Nest Doorbell 2nd Gen Wired at a new home.
Meaning that I do not have a previous chime installed.
So I did install Doorbell wired to a 24V transformer and works well.
Concerning the Chime Connector supplied by google, Is it a sort of speaker that make sounds or is it only to be conected to existed chime and make it sound ?
Is there any way to make the indoor nest chime sound without installing and regular doorbell like shown at ALL VIDEOS ?
Thanks,
Daniel Mas

Hello, The chime connector is not a speaker. since you have no mechanical chime inside the house you do not need to install it. What is does it allows the Nest doorbell to receive power but stop the chime from buzzing from the trickle current of the Nest Doorbell.
As for your other question the easies way is to purchase few of the Nest Hub (2nd gen). You can set it up to make the DING DONG sound and at the same time the display pops up a picture of who is at the door. I have 3 of them and love them. Plus the Nest Hub also does a lot of other cool things.
Lastly since you did the work of installing the 24 Transformer you could go purchase and install a mechanical chime and install it somewhere in the house. It is inside the chime box where you would install that small puck.

The purpose of the chime connector is to provide continuous power to your doorbell during the instant when the doorbell button is pressed and power is diverted to ring your indoor doorbell chime.
You should have the "Indoor chime" option turned off on your doorbell, and if you turn on the "Visitor announcements" option, you can get visitor announcements on a Nest Hub or a Nest Mini (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451).
