I have just purchased a Nest Doorbell battery, when I start the talk and listen session from my first generation Nest Hub, the audio stutters. I've answered the doorbell a couple of times from a display and this has happened. Just tested it and when I said "hello" it came through as "he-he-he-hello". This happens when the session starts, after that there is no stuttering.

Sorry to hear about that @aeliboc - have you tried doing a factory reset on your Nest doorbell battery? Hopefully that will solve the problem!

Thanks for the response @MrVacca I have tried doing a factory reset and am still experiencing the problem. Is the device defective? Thanks

Not sure if it's defective just yet. Have you tried restarting the Nest Hub?

I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue! I am glad however, to see that you have tried the Restart/Reset process. I am not sure why it is still experiencing this issue. It could be an issue with the hardware, or it could be some sort of connection issue if it is stuttering. I am no expert on the Nest Hub, but I would say if this could definitely be a connectivity issues.
Please let me know if you still need assistance on this issue.
Best Regards,
Brad.
P.S Thanks for all of your help, MrVacca. I appreciate it!

Hi @Brad we have optical fibre connection for the internet and getting >100 Mbps download and >20 Mbps for upload, so I don't believe the speed is an issue. it only stutters when i start the talk and listen session from the hub,, I don't get the issue when I do it from my pixel phone that is connected to my home wifi.
Thanks

Is your Hub connected to the same wifi as your phone and device? If it is an issue with the hub itself, then you may want to inquire about it in the Community Forums for Speakers and Displays. But in the meantime, restart your hub and make sure it is getting a strong connection and is close to your wifi. See if that makes a difference for the talk and listen feature.
Best Regards,
Brad.
