Nest Doorbell Fails to record when someone rings the bell

I have Nest Doorbell (Wired) and its happening from quite some time. When some one rings the door bell it cannot record for a brief ~5 min.  Also the notification i get in app is also showing spinner forever and does not show video. This is happened lot of times where i can see event occured until doorbell is clicked and after that cannot see anything ~5min or so and then it start to show events.

This is so frustrating as we are missing event and to tlk to some one from app.

If your doorbell is the Google Nest Hello Doorbell and its 1 or 2 years old or older, you're probably encountering what lots of us have encountered. The small internal battery in the camera may be failing. Since this battery seems to come into play only when the doorbell is pressed, pressing the doorbell causes the camera to go offline for awhile.

A workaround that has worked for many of us is to turn off the indoor chime in the Google Nest app and rely on visitor notifications on a Nest Hub or Nest Mini.

Some people have ordered a replacement battery and pried open the doorbell to replace it.

Google has not yet offered any remedy at all.
